It is a thanksgiving celebration to honor the goddess "Ka Blei Synshar" for a bountiful harvest. The festival features traditional dances performed by young girls adorned in intricate attire, whereas the men hold a sword and a white whisk kind of ceremonial fan accompanied by traditional music and rituals.

3.  Behdienkhlam Festival: Celebrated by the Pnar tribe in Jowai, the Behdienkhlam Festival is a unique event that combines religious, cultural, and sporting activities. Held in July, the Pnar community comes together to offer prayers and seek blessings for a bountiful harvest and protection from evil spirits. The festival involves a lively procession of men carrying a decorative tower-like structure called a ‘rath’. to an artificial mud-pool (aitnar) for symbolic immersions, Traditional dances, music, and sporting events like the "Dad-Lawakor", a game similar to football and tug-of-war kind of game are also part of the festivities.

4.  Shad Suk Mynsiem: Known as the Dance of Joy, Shad Suk Mynsiem is a vibrant festival celebrated by the Khasi tribe in April. It marks the arrival of spring and is a time of thanksgiving and merrymaking. Young girls dressed in traditional attire perform the joyful Mynsiem dance, accompanied by traditional music and rituals. The festival showcases the Khasi culture and their reverence for nature.
